Martin Chiappone began painting when he was 14 years old to make an honest dollar in a working class neighborhood of Niagara Falls NY in 1970. As the years went on he painted local houses and local businesses, even specialty coatings on factory water towers with his brothers who joined in. Eventually he created “M. Chiappone Painting & Decorating”. During the 1980’s and 1990’s he grew a larger crew and did commercial and residential jobs in Alaska for a while.
He finally returned to NY, where his wife had his two sons, then the whole family moved to Florida in 2021 where his eldest son Troy and his brother Rhett founded Tarpon Painting, L.L.C. Together they are a family business that proudly serves Charlotte, Lee, Desoto, and Sarasota counties, and they get the job done right the first time with their shared knowledge, expertise, and thorough attention to detail in order to beautify and restore Florida homes and businesses.
